How I Started
I Started by getting a general concept of how I wanted to Design the book cover. I wanted to incorporate a Victorian Design since the book came out in 1868. However, I still incorporated a modern Design elements since this would be marketed towards modern audience.
The process
I found the color palette that i wanted for the book more, so for the figures of the sisters on the cover. I had some prior knowledge about book, so i knew that the sisters wore certain colors based off their personality. Next i found fashion palette from the Victorian era a outline them to get their silhouettes and colored them. To get the Victorian frame i did surfed through many images of Victorian frames. I found one that was the right fit, so i did some image tracings and editing to fit the book.
